A pumice stone is a discreet but very useful accessory for daily care. Used correctly, it allows for targeted cleaning without pulling hair or irritating the skin. It is an auxiliary tool, to be used gently and with discernment.

Bot fly eggs often attach to the limbs, especially on light-colored horses.
Lightly dampen the pumice stone and rub gently, in the direction of the hair.
