To check for a good fit, start by putting on your gloves and closing your hand as if holding a rein. Your fingers should naturally reach the end of the glove, with no empty space. There should be no creases in the palm or at the fingers, as this creates friction and reduces precision. A glove that is too tight can cut off circulation, tire the hand, and cause tension, while a glove that is too loose results in a lack of support and loss of control over the reins.

Next, open and close your hand several times to test the flexibility. If the glove pulls at the base of the fingers or in the palm, it is too small. If it shifts or wrinkles on the back of the hand, it is too large. Then, take a rein or a thin object and check that the glove allows you to feel and control the contact without delay. A glove that excessively dampens sensations is often too thick or ill-fitting.

Finally, evaluate the overall comfort. You should not feel any pressure points, either at the seams or around the wrist, even after several minutes of use.
