A motocross helmet must be perfectly fitted, stable, and comfortable, as it is intended for dynamic and demanding situations.

• Position on the head
The helmet should sit flat, covering the forehead without tilting backward. The front edge should be approximately two fingers above the eyebrows.

• Lateral and rear adjustment
Once the helmet is in place, gently shake your head: it should not rotate or slide. The foam padding should fit snugly around your temples and the back of your skull without creating pressure points.

• Chin strap
Adjust the chin strap so that it is snug under your chin, without being excessively tight. You should be able to slide one finger flat between the strap and your skin.

• Movement test
Walk, go up and down stairs, lean forward: the helmet should remain perfectly stable, even when looking down at the ground or up at the sky.

• A new helmet should initially feel slightly snug. The foam padding will compress with use, ensuring optimal comfort over time without compromising safety.
